Where it began
Mark Munro has been established in the local Warkworth/Matakana area for over 35 years.
Living and growing up in this area has given Mark great opportunities to develop relationships and business skills which have been an important asset to him even today. At 17 years of age Mark was given an apprenticeship opportunity with a local Electrician -Dave Cash Electrical which he successfully completed and in 1992 and thereafter established his own contracting business – Mark Munro Electrical
Over the following years, he recognised that there was a high demand for security and automation systems in both residential, commercial markets.
Seizing the opportunity to expand, he trained and up-skilled further in these areas and created his new Company in 1997 – MM Electrical & Security Ltd
Mark now with wife and two children supports, sponsors many sports clubs and schools in the surrounding Matakana/Warkworth area giving him a well-known professional reputation with all aspects of electrical contracting in the local community.
